Transfer your old VHS home movies, VHS-C, Super 8, or 8mm film recordings* onto a DVD.

Not only will you be converting your recordings to a safer medium (videotape can be "eaten" by a dirty VCR, or erased or damaged - 8mm film can become brittle and break), but you can also add a menu, narration, your choice of background music, and/or transitional effects - greatly enhancing the life of your recording, as well as the viewing experience.

VHS Transfer options:


Option 1: 
"Spruce-Up Package"
Your (up to 2 hours) VHS/VHS-C home video transfered to DVD with added navigation menu and custom case.

"Major Makeover Package"
Your (up to 2 hours) VHS/VHS-C home video transfered to DVD (in a custom case), with added navigation menu, plus transitional effects, editing, narration, background music added as needed.
*Price will vary according to individual needs. * All packages include DVD in a customized case.

8mm/Super 8 options:



The above listed "packages" are available here also, but we must FIRST convert your footage (converting your 8mm / Super 8 to a format we can work with). Please contact us regarding 8mm/Super 8 film.
 *Conversion fees are 15 cents per foot of film. Minimum fee of $15.00.

Estimating footage / fees.
 3” diameter reel = 50 ft of film
5” diameter reel = 200 ft of film
 6” diameter reel = 300 ft of film
 7” diameter reel = 400 ft of film
 15¢ per foot charge for conversion fee.

Examples: Two 3” reel / $15.00
Three 3” reels / $22.50
Ten 3” reels / $75.00
One 5” reel / $30.00
One 6” reel / $45.00
One 7” reel / $60.00

PLEASE NOTE:
 Because some 8mm/Super 8 film may be too brittle to transfer, we reserve the right to refuse service. In such cases, film will be returned at the customer's expense.

Homespun Histories WILL NOT duplicate or transfer copyrighted materials unless customer shows proof of reproduction rights.
